I’ve been working in the fashion world for over twenty-five years. I am a personal image consultant, stylist, designer, makeup artist, haute couture teacher and business trainer. I don’t consider myself passionate about fashion. Of course, I’m up to date with the latest trends, but what I’m really passionate about are people, their concerns, and participating in their personal evolution, helping them feel better.
The services I offer follow the following methodology:

1-Personal interview of evaluation and analysis.

2-We define aesthetic goals as well as the personal image you want to project.

3-We implement the changes using the image tools at our disposal: clothing, hairstyle, accessories, color…

The main purposes are:

• Teach you how to project your personality through your personal style
• Adapt your image to the needs and demands in the various areas of your life

I WAS BORN IN 1970

Yes, I’m 50, and I say it with pride!! During all these years I have lived every minute intensely and although life has not been easy, it has given me great learnings.

MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUNDS

I started at the age of 18 working in my family’s haute couture workshop. I studied design, patterning, scaling. I learned the whole procedure of creating a garment, as well as sales and customer service. At the age of thirty-two I created my own clothing company Laura Costa Barcelona, for the Spanish market. Seven years later I trained as a Personal Image Consultant, Personal Shopper, makeup artist and visagism expert.

My entire professional life has been dedicated to personal and corporate image, and my background in fashion contributes greatly to the services that I offer.

I AM A TEACHER OF KUNDALINI YOGA AND MEDITATION

After more than a decade of practicing yoga, three years ago I trained as a kundalini and meditation teacher in 2017. This experience has taught me to grasp beyond what we can perceive with the senses. That helps me understand and empathize with my clients, to establish connections of deep understanding.

In my sessions, no one is ever judged. I understand that we are all different, and that is precisely what needs to be appreciated and exalted. I have a deep respect for every human being.

I LOVE CHALLENGES

I believe in self-improvement. Challenges – mine and others – have shown me that anything is possible, if you can exceed the limits of the mind.
Every client is a challenge, a story, a puzzle and for me a new mission.

I CONSIDER MYSELF A CREATIVE PERSON

I’m creative in everything I do, I can’t help it. I like to experiment with new ways of doing the most common things: cooking, painting, writing…

I use that creativity in my professional life when writing reports, creating outfits, preparing presentations for companies, etc.

I NEED CONTACT WITH NATURE

I need contact with any element of nature for my inner balance. I love gardening and animals.

This influences my work, which is why I reject invasive cosmetic operations or treatments, and I always choose “natural”.

I HAVE TWO CHILDREN

I have two children, from two different marriages. They are the ones who root me to the earth, who place me where I should be and from whom I learn daily the most valuable lessons.

Some of my clients are teenagers. Having children helps me understand my youngest clients and offer them what they need.

TWO IMPORTANT COUNTRIES FOR ME: MOROCCO AND THE UNITED STATES

My husband is American and my second child was born in Morocco. At home we speak Catalan, Spanish and English. I feel lucky to have formed an open-minded, multicultural family.

This has allowed me to be aware of new methodologies and trends beyond borders as well as update my knowledge and adapt to new professional circumstances.
